My wife and I have been married 33 years and have come to a breaking point. She was caught in an affair 4 years ago and we have lived as roommates since. I have forgiven her but struggle with wanting to love her as Christ loves the church and a deep emptiness inside that just wants to escape. Please pray that something good may emerge from our brokeness.

I pray with you that Jesus come right into the middle of your troubled marriage. May He minister to your own heart, filling the emptiness as only He can. May He allow you to see your marriage as He sees it, and gift you with supernatural strength and grace. And may He minister transformation to your wife’s heart as well. May your marriage move toward becoming the thing of beauty and goodness that God intends it to become.
